Educational therapy is more than instruction—it’s about empowering students, strategizing effectively, and guiding them toward becoming their most capable selves.

Nicole’s approach is joyful, honest, and warm, fostering deep connections that inspire growth. Through collaboration with students and their teams, she activates learning, transforms challenges into opportunities, and cultivates the confidence needed to thrive—both academically and personally.

With a Master of Science in Education and over 15 years of experience, Nicole has worked across Special and General Education settings from elementary through high school in both New York City and Los Angeles. Though her path has included roles from classroom teacher to director, her true passion lies in the intimate, transformative work of educational therapy.

Nicole works one-on-one with clients, partnering closely with families, schools, and allied professionals to ensure cohesive support across environments. She reviews and interprets psychoeducational evaluations and IEPs, helping to implement and advocate for the accommodations and remediation each student needs to succeed.

Nicole finds profound joy in witnessing students blossom into confident, self-aware learners. Building lasting relationships with students and their families brings her deep fulfillment. Her own experiences with academic struggles fuel her commitment to staying informed and continually growing as a practitioner. She understands firsthand the power of discovering how each individual’s brain works and learns, receiving the right support, and ultimately being able to advocate for oneself.

Every day, Nicole is driven to equip her students with the tools, strategies, and self-awareness they need to succeed. She sees educational therapy as a process of nurturing and advocacy—one that requires understanding the whole child. Her individualized plans integrate advanced training in Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, Step Up to Writing, The Writing Revolution, SMARTS EF Connect, and the Jane Schaeffer Academic Writing Program. She supports students with ADHD, Dyslexia, Auditory Processing Disorder, Anxiety, Learning Differences, and Autism. Nicole has worked with students from all over the world, including Brazil, China, and Saudi Arabia.
